Villian and Hero

This week has been slightly chaotic as our teacher added two more people to our group and for this kind of project we all felt like it was a little too much so we got in contact with our teacher and sorted it out, so we now have one extra member! We took some time in the call to get to know them and see if they are happy and if they like our Moana themed idea and they did so that was a success.

One of our programmers also created a very very basic moving character on a plane in Unity and I wrote up some notes for the story to show our teacher and get her opinion to see if we were on the right track. She seemed to like the idea and was keen to see where it went!

I had this idea for the part of the story when the hero feels like they are defeated, we see the villians strength but them something happens that makes the hero stronger and they fight the villain. So, the part of the film in Moana, when she tries to defeat the villain she fails, and Maui breaks his hook and leaves her and so she gives the stone back to the ocean because she feels like she isn’t the ‘chosen one’ and then her grandma appears as a sting ray and then turns into a human and speak to her and gives her courage. I thought It would be good to do something along those lines because we can see the villains true strength there and the hero’s flaws and everyone loves it when the hero is slightly flawed because it reminds them they are also just human.
