Knights, castles and magic!

This week I have just been working on the screenplay, I have been adding more and more to it and it has been a bit difficult adding the dialogue because It’s hard to think what they would talk about, for example I created a scene with Guinevere and Cedric, making the delivery by riding the horse and cart to the Jade Kingdoms castle and I wanted them to have a conversation while riding but I was so stuck on what they would actually talk about so I had to put myself in their shoes and I wrote some notes down that would help me think about how they act and speak. Also I had to think how people spoke in those times as it was kind of the medieval era (with magic) but people spoke differently to how we speak now so I had to also take that into account.

We sorted some stuff out with our artist like what assets we need from him, what his art style is, the colour palette, etc. We added some inspiration images to our Trello board so that everyone would get an idea of how this is going to look. We decided that our style of the character’s and the special world would be based on the television show Merlin as it’s like a fantasy world, with knights, castles, kings and queens and magic!
